Expecting My 2nd Child

Assalamualaikum bloggers & readers...

Hope all of you are good and blessed. I juz wanna share some of my thoughts and experiences during my pregnancy. With my first pregnancy it was so easy and I was never sick. Now with my second I agree  completely that dis one is different. My belly popped out so much faster and  I'm very very sick and tired. I'm sick all day everyday it's so horrible. I hope that means it a girl insyaAllah...

Happy, healthy mothers produce happy, healthy babies. It's a fact. High levels cortisol in pregnancy are associated with babies who cry more and sleep less after birth. One of my way is watching my favorite TV shows. In term of nutrition, I take vitamins and drink Anmum Materna. These are the supplements I have taken during my pregnancy. Most of these were the supplements recommended by my midwife.

I didn't have weird cravings while pregnant. Instead, I indulged in my favorites like cheeseburger, less sweet COOL BLOG, KFC twister combo and other high-calorie goodies. But I never thought I could get addicted to soap until I shopped at Tesco Store not too long ago. Certain brand of shower gel smells so good to me. I can get enough of the smell even sometimes I feel like to take a sleep in the bathroom. Besides, Dettol actually smells better to me. That has literally been my only pregnancy symptom.

I'm almost 37 weeks now and noticed felt more sick, so uncomfortable with false labor, breathless and very fatigued. Nevertheless, I can't wait to see my 2nd baby and kiss her/him. And see my husband's reaction when he holds the baby. I'm nervous and excited as well. My hospital bag is so full i look like I'm leaving home hihihi... Like any other mom, I hope that my baby would be normal and healthy, amin...

When Life Doesn't Go As Planned

I remember daydreaming about the future when I was younger. I never dream about being married, yet I always saw myself in a relationship. I have learned a lot last year already. I learned that things don't always turn out the way you planned, or the way you think they should. And I've learned that there are things that go wrong that don't always get fixed or get put back together the way they were before. I've learned that some broken things stay broken, and I've learned that I can get through bad times and keep looking for better ones, as long as I have people around me who love me....

When life gets stressful, I often forget the things I should remember, and remember the things I should forget.

Some reminders to help motivate myself  when I need it most.

1. Giving up doesn't always mean you’re weak, sometimes it means you are strong enough and smart enough to let go. Hanya kepada Allah tempat mengadu & berserah...

2. Spend more time with those who make you smile and less time with those who you feel pressured to impress. Most negative people behave negatively not just to you, but to everyone they interact with.  What they say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own attitude.

3. No matter how it turns out, it always ends up just the way it should be.  Either you succeed or you learn something. Win-Win.

4. You can’t force yourself to forget about something because the only reason why we forget is when a better memory has taken its place. It’s okay.  You will be okay.... :)

5. The only thing you can absolutely control is how you react to things out of your control.  The more you can adapt to the situations in life, the more powerful your highs will be,  and the more quickly you’ll be able to bounce back from the lows in your life.

“…and put your trust in Allâh if you are believers indeed. (Surah Al-Ma’idah, 5: 23)

may ALLAH ease our way, guide every step of the way till the end of life ... and strengthen our iman in all problems... Amin...
